Progress on the Apartment

It has been awhile, so I wanted to do a quick update on the progress that Jason has made on our apartment. Since J has been back in Nigeria, he has purchased a queen bed for the guest bedroom, a TV, office furniture, and a few kitchen items like drinking and wine glasses. Now that he has the cable and Internet set up in our apartment, he was able to move in last week.
J got the TV and speakers all set up in the living room, although we still need to get the entertainment center furniture.

The home office, hopefully J can work from here a lot!
Jason has used the gym at the apartment now and was pleased at the new equipment and what all they had available.

He also snapped this awesome picture of the pool, where I plan on spending many afternoons this November and December, while most of the states freeze :)

I have done some shopping myself for things that will get included in the air freight. I purchased a king comforter and throw pillows for our bed and couch, some king sheets, and 2 new pillows (memory foam for me and feather for J). I also purchased some airtight containers to keep fruits and veggies lasting longer in the fridge. I have tried to stock up on bathroom things for myself including vitamins and make-up. I was thankful that my mother came in this weekend to take me to Sam's to get some more things for the move. Now our apartment has really become cluttered and not sure how this is all going to be packed and moved in about a month!

My mom also helped me clean out my closet so that I could get rid of a lot of stuff. Now I am just figuring out what I will need to pack for KY and for Nigeria. I will put the rest in storage, which is most of my winter clothes since it doesn't get below 70 in Nigeria :)

Lastly, I had to show this picture that I quickly captured at the airport this past Wednesday. I was at the international terminal waiting to board my flight to Calgary, when I noticed the flight to Lagos right across the way. It won't be long until I am on that 12 hour direct flight on the way to my new home!
