Then the movers come on November 1 to pack everything for storage (all of our furniture) and pack the air freight to send to Nigeria. The rest will go in suitcases. Our flight is currently booked for November 4th, but that is all contingent on getting my visa from the Nigerian consulate.
We got news that the sea freight had safely made it to Nigeria, but will be in customs for a while, at least until we get there.
We had 2 exciting furniture pieces built while J was still over in Nigeria that I wanted to share. First was the kitchen table. He had this built and even let me pick out the chair cushion fabric by email.

I officially stopped working on October 4th so I could get everything ready for the big move. I have some contacts in Nigeria to find work there but will be taking some much needed time off first before actively looking for a part-time job in this new city.
I will post more soon for other FAQs that I have been answering for friends and family. And not long until I post my first pics from Nigeria!!! Its getting close!
